Pinterest in Real Life

     After a break for my little brother’s birthday yesterday, the Ohio visit chronicles will continue! While we on our vacation, we headed up to the little town of Powell, Ohio for one of our favorite hobbies: Antiquing! And I really mean ‘one of our’ favorite hobbies..he is a Renaissance Man after all :) Not only do I love hunting down cool furniture & decorations, I also love Pinterest. If you haven’t checked out this online catalog, go do so & let the inspiration begin! When you are done being inspired, come back & finish reading this!! As we walked along the huge antique mall, I snapped pictures of the things I felt sure I couldn’t live without. Marcus was able to use brainwashing reason to convince me otherwise time after time, but I am sure I left pieces of my heart right there with those treasures. Thankfully, with those pictures, I am able to ‘pin’ some of my finds right here on my ‘lil blog! Please do excuse the deplorable exposure/composition/focus of these photo’s. I couldn’t be bothered ;)

I wanted to take this vanity home sooo badly!

Did I mention that yellow is my new favorite color? It was truly teasing me too..

Oh my! A high chair & a potty seat? I need a baby, stat! A baby with a dimple on one side, just like my husband’s!

Don’t even get me started on the vintage pyrex. Why weren’t these on my wedding registry?!

Like I said, I neeeeed a baby..

Reeeeaaaaallllllyyy wanted this yellow frame…it would be perfect for one of our engagement photos.

And this frame made me think of my sister-in-law and her sweet red, black & white living room. What do you think, Emily? Should I have brought it home for you?

I love bird cages & bird houses..

And I would sure love to stick this door/mirror in my living room

In the end, I did take something home with me. I mean somebody. He was the best thing in the whole store anyways ;)
